I decided that I love the office. I have never worked in an office.... But I totally love "the office"! So, I was thinking "why do I love it so much?" well I'll tell you,... it's because I think I am a lot like Michael Scott. "Michael Scott?" you say..well cowboy it's because I think I run my family/home like he runs his paper company. Let me tell you it's hard and pretty funny and maybe weird at times, some of the logic I use... or parenting skills if you will. You see I don't know what I'm doing half the time. -and it get's pre-tty tricky to make it appear or manipulate situations to look like I do know what I'm doing! The older the kids get the harder it is to fool them. I remember one time when the boys were being mean to each other and I had, had enough (and we were in the car)so I yelled at them to say they were sorry and give each other a kiss on the cheek...and yelled it several times....except I didn't say cheek I said lips...I swear I was thinking cheek in my head but it just didn't come out right. They kinda had that deer in the headlights look and then my husband was a little... TOBYISH and whispered "really on the lips...Terre"??. He thought since I read all the parenting books I must know something he didn't.
